The Chariot from Lost in Space Hello,
The Lost in Space television series aired on CBS from 1965 to 1968. The Chariot, was developed and created for the show. Through the magic of the art department and creativity of producer Irwin Allen, the Chariot was born. It was fully functional and was used throughout the series run. Like most fans I too would have loved to see this Chariot in person. Unfortunately, that did not happen. However, if you click the picture below or the link that says RC Chariot, you will see the most detailed and best scratch built remote controlled model ever made. This Chariot is the next best thing to the original. Interest in NBC's purchase of a script and intentions to produce an made for tv 2 hour movie based on the original series is said to be what prompted ET to interview the cast members.
